I specialise in helping independent artists finish their music, whatever that may look like.
Most of the projects I work on sit somewhere on the broad spectrum of indie pop but I love music that combines great songwriting, memorable hooks and interesting sounds.
That could be anything from modern pop with a retro twist to guitar-led indie, or something that's totally out of the norm altogether.
Basically, I'm drawn towards records that have personality.
Incredible music is now being made in bedrooms, home studios and much smaller spaces which is a great thing. But making a record which sounds 'finished' can still feel surprisingly difficult.
I get how hard it is when you've lived with a song for weeks or months or even years. It's easy to lose perspective and not know how to get it over the line.
That's where I come in.
I don't think of my job as just to balance stuff or make things sound nicer. My job is to understand the feeling of your song, what it is you're trying to say with it, and figure out what it is that's getting in the way of it being finished.
Sometimes that means mixing. Sometimes it's extra production bits. Or sometimes it's just offering a fresh set of ears and some advice.
Ultimately my goal is to help you finish a record that you want to play to everyone you know.
