Built in 1986, the PSS-270 is an FM Synthesizer packed full of interesting retro sounds with a hazy, lo-fi quality that adds a ton of retro character many other more expensive synths lack.

I've used this thing on so many records and with the right processing and tweaking, it always delivers something unique and interesting.

That's why I've put together this pack. I wanted to bring this lightweight, characterful keyboard into the 21st century and make it playable in software form.

So, I've meticulously sampled all of the best patches from the PSS-270 and given them my own polish; moulding them and adapting them in ways that I've learned work best over the years of owning this gem.

The Yamaha PSS-270 Sample Pack features 75 patches including deep pad sounds, gritty lead sounds, eerie bell-ish sounds, punchy basses and much more, all now available for Kontakt (in any DAW) and the Logic Pro X Sampler.
